About ATAC
Textron Systems - ATAC provides tactical flight training and adversary aggressor services for U.S. 
Navy, Marine and Air Force pilots, and is the only organization certified to train the Navy’s 
TOPGUN program. ATAC operates simultaneously across eight sites and two continents and 
comprises the world’s largest outsourced civilian, tactical airborne training organization and 
proudly provides the highest quality live training to Squadrons, Air Wings, and Battle Groups.

Summary:
The Plans and Schedules/Ramco Administrator will perform Aircraft Logs and Records duties, 
RAMCO database functions, and associated tasks as part of a team, implementing and 
maintaining the ongoing requirements of the Aircraft Maintenance Program. 
Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the accurate documentation of all Aircraft maintenance tasks in 
associated logs and records, monitors and updates Aircraft Flight Records, track and 
notify Maintenance Managers of aircraft component Life Limits, major inspections, and 
overhaul requirements throughout the life of the aircraft. 
• Utilizes the RAMCO System and all supporting tools, content, and technologies, roles, 
users, security, internal system notifications and other instructional technology user 
accounts. Reviews the accuracy of documentation of RAMCO System support methods, 
procedures, and configuration. 
• Troubleshoots routine RAMCO network problems. Evaluates and follows through on 
issues and problems until resolved or escalated. Reviews the accuracy of documentation 
of server support methods, procedures, and configuration.
• Training Material: Works with Logistics, Flight operations, Aircraft Maintenance, and 
Finance staff to provide help resources and training for users, how-to guides, and FAQs 
related to the usage of the learning of the RAMCO System.
• User & Technology Support: Establishes business relationships with both internal and 
external clients. Attend meetings, answer questions, and provides technical guidance 
and/or training to users to ensure the success of the RAMCO System and the tools used 
in conjunction with it. 
• Documentation: Documents all project and task activity using the appropriate tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Minimum of 1 year of aviation systems administration experience
• Knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance Database Systems (RAMCO, NALCOMIS, AMS) 
• Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications
• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
• Experience using complex tracking systems in an aircraft maintenance environment, 
• Knowledge of Cloud solutions such as Azure

JOB SCOPE:

·        Make any sub-assemblies of aircraft parts, includes stud driving, pressing in, drilling, reaming and pinning of bushings. Use all tools necessary to make sub-assemblies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

About This Role

We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

• Read and interpret basic drawings and weld symbols
• Passing Textron’s aluminum MIG (GMAW) weld test procedure
• Perform as a productive working team member that meets daily goals set by the supervisor.
• MIG welding of aluminum materials in all positions. Must be able to work from standing, sitting, lying and kneeling positions. Some work must be accomplished with the use of mirror welding.
• Use of power tools (gougers, circular saws, grinders) in a safe, compliant manor
• Operate cranes and forklifts
• Assist supervisor to maintain control of department equipment and its maintenance.
• May instruct and mentor less-skilled welders, as assigned
• Works with a sense of urgency, efficiency and productive out put
• Maintains safe work practices and adheres to safety policies and procedures
• Ensure correct construction procedures are adhered to
• Ability to work shifts or overtime as required, must be flexible
• Maintain general housekeeping, keep materials and equipment stowed in an orderly manner
• Monitors working environment for compliance with quality, safety, environmental and health regulations and report deficiencies to supervisor
• Demonstrated ability to weld fillets for material thicknesses 4mm- 10mm
• Demonstrated ability to weld frame wraps and terminations with minimal blending required
• Demonstrated ability to weld T-Bar wraps and terminations with minimal blending required.
• Demonstrated ability to weld into corners / vertical intersections with minimal blending required
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate and correct basic weld pick up, with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated ability to weld groove/butt joints with satisfactory radiographic testing (NDT)
• Demonstrated ability to back step and sequence weld based upon provided information and/or good welding practices

The Training Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive training programs to ensure compliance with AS9100, System Level Procedures (SLP’s), Certified Repair Station processes, among other industry standards. This role involves conducting needs assessments, developing training plans, administration, and oversight of training programs to support both bargained and non-bargained employees.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and administer training programs to ensure compliance with AS9100, SLP’s, Certified Repair Station processes, procedures, and other standards.

• Conduct needs assessments for both bargained and non-bargained employees and develop targeted training plans.

• Interpret and apply organizational policies, procedures, and work instructions for use in skills assessment and training.

• Develop and coordinate training curriculum, programs, procedures, and plans to meet organizational goals.

• Collaborate with all departments to help assess and coordinate training efforts to meet department needs.

• Create and maintain a standardized record-keeping system to track training administration and associated costs.

• Develop and conduct training courses and/or work closely with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to create and administer training.

• Assist with the development and administration of employee testing programs, including Train-the-Trainer programs.

• Provide metrics reports as requested.

• Review current training programs and methodologies and recommend improvements.

• Coordinate training with external industry partners as needed.

• Work closely with local, state, and federal grants for training program funding (e.g., WEDnet).

• Ensure all employees receive the necessary training to perform their roles safely and effectively.
