Aerosonde® UAS Supporting Fourth U.S. Navy Ship with Extended Range ISR Services HUNT VALLEY, MD/October 20, 2022 – Textron Systems Corporation, a Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT) company, announced today that it has been awarded a contract valued at up to $22 million by the U.S. Navy’s Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) to provide UAS operational support to the USS Miguel Keith, designated ESB-5. The contract begins in FY23 and has a total potential performance period of five years. This award builds on the four-year extension of USS Hershel “Woody” Williams (ESB-4) earlier this year and joins two DDG-class ships, bringing the total number of U.S. Navy ships supported by the Aerosonde® UAS system to four. Brings Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance Capability to Domestic Security HUNT VALLEY, MD/ October 11, 2022 – Textron Systems Corporation, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, announced today the first operational flights of its Aerosonde® Unmanned Air System (UAS) for the Nigerian Army. The Aerosonde UAS hosts intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities and will be the first UAS capability of its kind in country.

Nigeria took delivery of multiple Aerosonde 4.7 Fixed Wing UAS vehicles to enhance the nation’s domestic security and for ISR missions. Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) services are part of the agreement and include providing on-going sustainment, logistics services, parts and repairs support, technical publication updates and continuous asset support for the duration of the contract.

(NYSE: TXT), announced today that it has been awarded a five-year indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract by the U.S. Navy to provide chase flight services for the F-35 program.

WILMINGTON, MA/August 3, 2022 – Textron Systems Corporation, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, announced today that it received a five-year contract from the U.S. Army Contracting Command – New Jersey which was executed in support of the U.S. Army Project Manager Close Combat Systems. The contract is valued up to $353,980,000 to produce the XM204 Top Attack Munition, an anti-vehicle terrain shaping system, and associated trainers. The XM204 precision anti-vehicle capability supports modernization of the Army’s terrain shaping and counter-mobility capabilities. 

The five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) production contract was awarded in response to a U.S. Army Europe Operational Needs Statement and follows a 2019 development and qualification contract also awarded to Textron Systems. In addition, the first delivery order has been awarded under this IDIQ contract, which would see delivery in fiscal year 2023 of XM204 Munitions and XM98 Emplacement

(NYSE:TXT) company, announced today that it has been awarded a contract valued up to $18.3 million including all options by the U.S. Navy’s Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) to provide continued UAS operations support for the USS Hershel “Woody” Williams, designated ESB-4. The one-year base contract includes two 12-month options and two six-month options, for a total potential performance period of four years. The company was originally selected to support the ESB-4 in 2018.
