Meet Cindy - Talent Development Team

What are your primary responsibilities on your team?

I am a member of the Talent Development (TD) team. As the People and Culture Leader, I work with our employee groups to support internal employee engagement efforts and our new Diversity and Inclusion program, All Included and Corporate Social Responsibility. Through all of these efforts, we strive to create a strong workplace culture for our employees as well as strengthen the communities where we live and work.

What do you like about working on this team?

How collaborative and supportive everyone on the team is. As a TD team, we share an overarching mission to create programs that will provide our people the best employee experience possible so that everyone is able to thrive and build a fulfilling career within Textron. When you have a team that shares the same vision and is all hands on deck to supporting our people, it makes what we do so much more rewarding.

What advice would you give to a new hire joining this team?

At Textron Systems, we are always adapting and looking for a better way to serve our customers. For this reason, I would encourage all new hires to be comfortable with asking questions and making suggestions to improve current processes. Never shy away from bringing your unique perspectives to the table.
