Steve Mensh is senior vice president and general manager of Textron Systems’ Electronic Systems and Geospatial Solutions businesses, as well as a member of the Textron Systems Executive Leadership Team. As the leader of Electronic Systems and Geospatial Solutions, Mensh will set the strategic path for the business, supervise the execution of new programs and products, and oversee all aspects of site infrastructure.
Electronic Systems is a diverse, multi-national organization known for its flight line, intermediate and depot test products and services, electronic warfare simulators, automated test equipment and high-fidelity training devices. Electronic Systems also includes Textron Systems Electronic Systems UK Ltd., a designer and manufacturer of electro-optical, infrared, missile warning test systems, and simulation products.
Geospatial Solutions is an advanced geospatial intelligence solutions and services organization known for its global and national defense, humanitarian assistance, healthcare, forestry, urban planning product and service lines.
Prior to assuming his current position, Mensh was vice president of programs, with responsibilities ranging from management of personnel and investment resources to proposal and research activities. Before joining Textron Systems, Mensh supported Aeronautical Radio Incorporated (ARINC) as technical director, while concurrently serving as program director, responsible for growing the company’s aviation and avionics modernization business. He also was director of business development for multiple ARINC business areas, and led many program and proposal development activities as a program manager and project engineer. Mensh began his career at the company as an electronics engineer before moving into roles with increasing levels of responsibility.
Mensh earned a bachelor’s degree in physics from Loyola University Maryland, and has continued his education through several courses in management and business development, including Textron’s Senior Executive Leadership Program at Duke University and the Executive Leadership Program at the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
