About This Role
The Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for maintenance actions on Airborne Tactical Advantage Company’s aircraft as well as the safe and expeditious launch and recovery flight line operations at permanent and detachment sites.
Responsibilities
• Maintenance efforts in support of company commitments
• Proficient in one type/model aircraft and helper on additional type/model aircraft
• Utilize AMS program
• Training of maintenance personnel
• Manage assigned maintenance programs
• Assist with coordination of detachment requirements with Crew Chiefs (as necessary)
• Obtain and maintain Detachment Lead qualification
• The Aircraft Mechanic troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls
• This mechanic repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft structures, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls
• This mechanic performs 100-hour, progressive, isochronal, phase, periodic, and other hourly or calendar inspections
• This mechanic: adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories, performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections
• Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as; blueprints or manufactures’ manuals
• Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects
• Additional responsibilities as delineated by Production Supervisor and Crew Chiefs

Ruggedized tools and tests develops and produced RF and EO/IR devices that help insure that military aircraft can safely perform their missions. These devices test the communications and aircraft survivability equipment that keep the warfighter in the air

Position Summary: Investigates safety issues and concerns and ensures appropriate local, state, federal laws and regulations are being followed in all Lycoming Engines facilities. Job will involve understanding OSHA and other federal safety regulations. Will use various EHS tools, instruments, skills to ensure compliance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Safety technician will spend approximately 60% of time out on the production floor performing various Environmental & Safety inspections, observations, audits. The remaining 40% will be administrative tasks such as compiling EHS metrics, documentation of issues and corrective actions, development of training programs, etc. Some
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
· Coordinate Plant EHS activities including but not limited to safety inspections, evaluations, trainings and consultations related to worksites, equipment, vehicles, materials, facilities and procedures.
· Conducts periodic site inspections to ensure compliance with state, federal, local entities including OSHA, DEP, EPA, NIOSH, Life Safety Codes and Global corporate standards.
· Conducts all training programs required by regulation and ensure they are conducted in a timely manner.
· Conducts accident site investigations, including determining accident causes, taking preventative measures and making recommendations for corrective or preventative measures. Assists with implementation of recommendations and performs follow up inspections to ensure corrective action is completed and effective.
· Provides technical information for supervisory/management and conducts specific employee training in occupational safety and health related topics.
· Works with EHS staff to implement and maintain established occupational safety programs.
· Assists supervisor with scheduling of required annual safety trainings.
· Reviews and responds to employee concerns involving health and safety issues and makes recommendations regarding employee work-related injuries.
· Conducts safety audits/walks to observe conditions and work practices. Modifies unsafe practices and coordinates necessary personnel to address noted concerns.
· Assists with the communication of new systems, programs or initiatives related to safety expectations.
· Assists with the development and maintenance of a safety and risk management information system.
· Address environmental issues and/or Loss Control issues as directed.
· Assists EHS specialists (Environmental & EHS) in preparing federal, state and local reports as requested.
· Performs other duties as assigned.

About This Role
Textron Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer, focused on Design for Manufacturing and Assembly and product transition to production within the development phase of the product life cycle to join our team. This individual will be responsible for providing manufacturing engineering input to support new product development, and to optimize design for manufacturability, design for assembly, design to cost, and transition to production. This individual will work alongside the design engineering team during the preliminary development phases of emerging programs to analyze and improve manufacturing cost, quality, and DFX. Responsibilities will also include other upstream activities such as capital equipment, facility requirements, existing and emerging manufacturing technologies, tool design, cost estimating, and configuration control. This individual will work closely with Design Engineering, Engineering Prototype Technicians, Manufacturing Engineers, Machinists, and Assembly Technicians to complete initial prototype builds, analyze results, and refine engineering designs.
Our Manufacturing Engineering team is focused on developing and improving new product designs to incorporate all necessary cost, quality, and DFX improvements to support advanced emerging programs for military, government, and commercial customers.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide manufacturing engineering input to support new product development, from initial conceptual design to the transition-to-production phase.
• Perform design for manufacturability, design for assembly, and design to cost analyses during the preliminary development phase of emerging programs and drive changes early in product development to improve manufacturability
• Collaborate with Design Engineering, Engineering Prototype Technicians, Machinists, Assembly Technicians, and other Manufacturing Engineers to provide a clear line of communication between design and manufacturing.
• Participate in tabletop design reviews and formal CCB reviews.
• Perform make/buy analyses for new designs.
• Collaborate with suppliers for outsourcing activities.
• Determine necessary capital equipment, facility requirements, manufacturing technologies, and other manufacturing requirements for emerging programs.
• Develop manufacturing processes, procedures, tool designs, production layouts, cost estimates, and configuration control methods for efficient manufacturing of new products. • Identify emerging manufacturing technologies and perform cost/benefit analysis for implementation.
• Develop factory floorplans and machine arrangements with facilities to ensure efficient and productive manufacturing flow.
• Develop detailed manufacturing process documents. • Develop detailed production plans to support new products.
• Maintain a positive attitude while interacting with a diverse and multi-functional workforce.

In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Research, design, evaluate, install, operate, and maintain electro-mechanical products, systems, and processes to support new and existing simulation training devices.
- Design new component parts, assemblies, and production drawings using 3D CAD software.
- Alter and/or modify existing designs to achieve specified functional and operational performance.

The ideal candidate has a proven ability to design mechanical systems using 3D CAD, hands-on experience in a prototyping or production environment, a solid foundation in mechanical design principals, and a passion for automotive-related platforms. This position is open for a level II to III role so candidates with 2-10+ years of experience are welcome to apply.

Job Summary:
The Supplier Development Engineer is responsible for delivering strategic and tactical supply chain activities for our supply base to effectively support all Textron Systems’ businesses across all site locations with a focus on overall external supply chain improvement.
Each team member will develop optimized external supply chain capability, enabling the highest levels of competition among the highest performing suppliers, geographically located; to optimally support our business throughout all phases of the product life cycle with a particular focus on Quality.
This role includes performing: - supplier assessments and development evaluations, supplier identification, and supplier management tasks. Working collaboratively across all product domains to understand the needs of the business and drive supply chain execution and accountability to the highest attainable level

The Supplier Development Engineer is specifically responsible for driving results with our suppliers across multiple supply categories including mechanical and/or electrical parts and assemblies in all facets of performance, including cost, delivery and quality. This role will report directly to the Manager of Supplier Development within the Supply Chain organization.
Key responsibilities:
· Develop Relationships throughout the Supply Base and connect that network with Internal customers and drive Quality into the foundation for execution
· Perform and/or participate in source qualification by performing quality management system surveys and special process surveys.
· Solicit supplier inputs into product design, considering design for manufacturability, cost, reliability, parts availability, and more.
· Perform Manufacturing Readiness Assessments (MRA) as appropriate for suppliers.
· Coordinate the effective flow-downs of contractual requirements to suppliers along with alignment on quality codes and performance expectations.
· Execute supplier development strategies balanced across all domains.
· Partner with Sourcing Engineering, Supplier Management, Buyers, and Quality Engineering to ensure a smooth transition to the identified source enabling seamless execution via leading effective Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM).
· Coordinate with Quality Engineering inspection requirements of suppliers and execute inspection requirements such as first article inspection, managing nonconforming materials, troubleshooting, processing material review board actions, etc.
· Lead management of critical supplier issues to improve overall execution.
· Lead risk assessments via FMEA/Risk Cubes, RCCA, countermeasures and supplier scorecard reviews.
· Perform data analysis and issue reports on supplier performance to ensure suppliers meet and maintain expected performance levels inclusive of quality and delivery.
