About This Role
The Quality Assurance Director is an advanced technical resource in the principles and application of quality systems and compliance, responsible for developing goals, objectives and the organizations quality strategies. The role executes alignment of procedures, processes and resources related to the Quality Management System and helps drive Quality improvements and a proactive and preventive culture of quality. The scope of the quality department includes Program Quality engineering, Non destructive test lab, incoming and in process inspection, calibration and internal auditing in support of the entire Quality Management System.

Job Summary:
The Government Property Specialist, reporting directly to the PC&L Supervisor, is responsible for management and reporting of the Textron Systems Wilmington Government Property Management System. This includes the maintenance of records and issuance of required contractual reports concerning government-owned property from its receipt at the company to its final disposition after contract completion or termination. This includes management of government property sent to suppliers and coordinating with Procurement, Engineering, Manufacturing & Program teams to ensure contractual compliance. Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a USG Security Clearance, and be able to travel up to 10% of the time.
Responsibilities:
· Provide process ownership over policy/procedure development, deployment, maintenance, and training.
· Execution of compliance audits related to Government Property Management across, production, engineering lab, and logistics warehouse.
· Investigate and report any loss, damage, destruction, or theft of Government property.
· Act as a liaison with internal and external customers to resolve government property issues
· Coordinate deliverables to DCMA or other US government agency property administrators.
· Provide mentoring and guidance relative to the Government Property System.
· Responsible for resolving complex systems and process problems.
· Analyze current practices for deficiencies and determines potential corrective action.
· Maintain auditable records of government-owned property located at the facility and associated vendor/subcontractor facilities or other alternate sites.

The Proto-Trak Machinist will produce machined parts by setting up and operating various pieces of CNC machinery including lathes and milling centers; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies.
Job Responsibilities:
• Set-up and operate Proto-Trak, CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers, mills by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets and compensation; including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Sets up Proto-Traks, CNC lathes by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets; indicating vices; tramming heads.
• Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces, adhering to international standards.
• Maintains specifications by observing drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; adjusting controls; replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.

About This Role
The Quality Electrical Engineer, reporting to the Sr Manager, Quality Assurance will perform three primary roles within the Quality Engineering function:
Performs Supplier Quality Engineering assignments requiring interactions with Suppliers to perform QMS audits, process audits and material issue resolution.
Performs Quality Engineering assignments requiring independent evaluation, selection, and application of standard Quality Engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgment and ingenuity in making adaptations and modifications.
Performs Quality Management Systems assignments requiring AS9100 System auditing, root cause and corrective action analysis and Performs Receiving and In-Process Inspection assignments 10% of the time requiring product verification, documentation validation, and associated systems transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Supports program level activities from Suppliers to the Customer.
- Interfaces with Suppliers to provide guidance and facilitate issue resolution.
- Perform Supplier QMS or Process audits.
- Reviews customer flow down for requirements analysis, identification, and definition.
- Performs inspections using inspection tools and techniques.
- Performs quality planning activities including development of Quality Plan, and Inspection Plan documents as required by the assigned project(s). Performs design document reviews as appropriate for the assigned project(s).
- Participates in process improvement activities through monitoring, root cause investigations, auditing, failure analysis etc. Participates in Program Management activities appropriate to the assigned project(s).
- Participates in Contract Data Requirements List development, review and delivery to the customer as required by the assigned project(s).
- Utilizes industry and Quality Management System concepts, policies and procedures.
- Assists in gauging and calibration activities as necessary.

- Participates in Material Review Board (MRB) disposition activities.
- Utilizes general understanding of industry and military specifications and standards in performance of the assigned Quality Engineering functions.

- Conducts internal QMS audits and participates in external registrar or customer audits.
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Textron Systems is looking for a team player to perform in process inspections and inspection of incoming material in accordance with drawing/spec requirements. Analyze complex drawings and interpret geometric dimensional tolerancing and special process requirements in order to determine conformance of a part.
JOB DUTIES:
· Familiarization with 3D models for Quality Inspection requirements
· Applies established inspection procedures utilizing a variety inspection/testing tools
· Complete first article inspections (FAI) per AS9102 Standard and internal procedures
· Act as company liaison for multiple Inspection functions within the facility.
· Utilize coordinate measuring machine programs to inspect product
· Ability to positively and effectively communicate clearly with team members in a training environment.
· Ability to work independently and follow through with completing daily tasks.
· Perform Material Review Board (MRB) roles including documenting the nonconformance, working with internal parties to disposition the nonconformance, and follow the nonconformance through the MRB process.
· Recommend and assist in changes to procedures, processes, and drawings to improve team and company efficiency and quality of product.
· Review product inspection results and work with Quality Engineering, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing to resolve product issues.
· Document and retain required Quality records and results.
A Senior/Lead Internal Quality Auditor completes audits independently or directs an audit from start to conclusion while providing guidance and audit oversight to a team of auditors. Schedules, plans and conducts Internal Quality process audits, Quality system audits, follow-up audits and other Quality related audits. Ensures compliance to AS9100 and verifies the audit’s resulting actions are implemented and effective. Represents Quality and supports the team at audit and corrective action meetings and discussions. Generates and assists in the issuance of corrective actions and risk mitigation requests. Provides any needed auditor guidance for the creation of audit checklists and recognizing and facilitating high quality corrective actions that prevent recurrence and assuring objective evidence adequately supports the audit results.

- Review corrective action submittals for acceptance and compliance.
- Provide the audit team the necessary support to instill strong audit skills, create comprehensive reports and provide timely follow-up for effectiveness reviews.
- Provide employees with training to utilize the tools necessary to determine true Root Cause and initiate strong corrective actions that will prevent recurrence.
- Analyze and maintain trending data and submit reports, as required.
- Communicate quality system audit issues to management and prepare audit presentation material detailing audit findings and conclusions reached as well as recommendations.
- Perform quality-related activities that add strategic value to the business such as participation in process and procedural development activities, continuous improvement actions, process mapping and streamlining, and contractual program verification.

About This Role
Textron Systems is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst to support multiple product lines in our Wilmington, Massachusetts location. The successful candidate will be eager to guide and support our Customers and our Engineering teams to follow industry-standard configuration management practices as they investigate, design, and integrate new and advanced technologies into our family of Weapon Systems, Unmanned Air Vehicles, Surface Vessels, and Ground Control Systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform the five functions of Configuration Management in support of programs from medium to large size. Help programs meet their goals for cost, quality, and schedule.
- Interpret complex specifications, contractual data, and hardware requirements, and apply that knowledge to provide direct support and assistance to Program teams as needed.
- Participate in Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs) that ensure delivered product meets the product baseline requirements. Assemble data packages and coordinate meeting minutes and audit actions.
- Support CCBs between Textron Systems and its customers and between Textron Systems and its suppliers. Draft agendas, keep minutes and actions, and perform routine status accounting tasks for the program.
- Review documentation creation and change activities to ensure proper application of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) system requirements to metadata at the time of release.
- Support assembly of periodic Technical Data Package (TDP) deliveries by utilizing the PLM system to assemble and review the necessary documentation.
- Support improvements to existing policies and procedures to support timely program execution and compliance with new and revised Configuration Management standards.
- Support Quality System audits as requested.
- Support the initial release and any subsequent revisions of program documents and drawings
