· Performs other clerical or material handling duties as required.

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Textron Systems is looking for a qualified contributor to perform in-process and final inspections in a low-rate production and EMD areas. In addition to performing in-process and final inspections, the role would also support receiving inspection (as needed) via drawings, dimensional requirements, PO codes, and supplier provided documentation.
JOB DUTIES:
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and inspection plans to determine product acceptability.
- Visual examinations by means of instruments, gauges, jigs, or other measuring devices to ensure adherence to standards, specifications, drawing, quality workmanship, etc.
- Communicate to team and support groups when non-conforming material is identified.
- Follow Material Review Board (MRB) process.
- Recommend and assist in updates to procedures, processes, drawings, and inspection plans to improve quality of product.
- Review product inspection results and work with Quality, Product, and Manufacturing Engineers to resolve product issues.
- Document and retain required Quality records and results.

Major Position Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have the ability to work within a diverse, multifunctional team and, under the supervision of a senior program manager or program director have the responsibilities not limited to the following:
· Managing the financial, technical, and schedule requirements of program components to deliver products that are technically acceptable in a cost-effective manner.
· Perform Control Account Manager responsibilities for program management budget including development of budgetary baseline, review of actual costs and determine variance analysis, monthly Latest Revised Estimate updates and Estimate At Complete analysis, and sales forecast update.
· Follow management program processes, plans and procedures to ensure program executes based on AS9100 Quality certification requirements and Textron best practices.
· Organize Program Management Execution Gates for leadership review and approval.
· Assist with proposal generation and submittal to the customer.
· Work closely with program schedulers to understand the IMS and all the inputs required to manage/update the IMS on a monthly basis.
· Interface with suppliers and Textron Systems Procurement organization to communicate program updates/changes to and from the supplier.

About This Role
Textron Systems Slidell, LA, or Wilmington, MA (Land, Sea, Weapons, and Howe & Howe) is seeking an experienced Export Compliance professional to manage our expanding regulatory compliance and contractual obligations in our defense line of business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success managing export and import compliance in an weapon, marine, and land vehicle/defense environment and have an extensive knowledge of the International in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations, and Customs Regulations, and must also have excellent communication skills. The Manager Export/Import Compliance will proactively oversee all export and import compliance matters for various businesses within Textron Systems located in Hunt Valley, Maryland. This person will interact with employees at all levels and will work both independently and with other members of the business and members of the Legal, Contracts and Compliance staff on a variety of interesting international trade compliance matters. The role requires successful management of a broad range of responsibilities in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
Responsibilities:
· Serve as an Empowered Official
· Provide a full range of proactive export/import compliance guidance to program management, contracts, procurement, business development, shipping, security and other functional areas within the Company
· Prepare and submit Directorate of Defense Trade Controls and Commerce license applications, Technical Assistance Agreements, Manufacturing License Agreements and Warehousing Distribution Agreements
· Determine the applicability of ITAR exemptions, ECCNs and use of Commerce exceptions
· Assist in maintaining a classified (HTS) Item database
· Support and ensure compliance for GSP, NAFTA, and other duty preference programs
· Work collaboratively with in-house attorneys and outside counsel to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
· Provide support in connection with internal/external audits and investigations
· Review and approve Foreign Visitor Notifications through appropriate system
· Review and approve shipping requests through appropriate system(s)
· Track application status, maintain database of granted export approvals, satisfy record-keeping requirements, and prepare required reports
· Assist in maintaining up-to-date Export/Import Compliance Policies, Procedures and Manuals
· Plan and conduct employee training
· Review export/import documents and work with Custom Brokers to expedite Customs clearance of products
· Apply U.S. Customs regulations to business transactions ensuring Customs compliance
· Facilitate/coordinate product reclassification
· Review and approval of commercial invoices and shipping process and coordination of freight forwarder requirements
· Perform other compliance activities as determined by the Director of Global Trade Compliance
· Assist and mentor individual Domain Export/Import Compliance personnel in resolving import regulatory and classification interpretations, act as buffer between OUs and Textron Systems Office
· Code Customs Broker import invoices for payment and review import entries for error
· Coordinate communication with Customs brokers and Customs bond underwriters.
· Focal point for alleged violations; assist in investigation and preparation of any required voluntary disclosures; coordinate review of same by the Textron Systems and Textron corporate offices

Job Description:
The Senior Contracts Specialist shall proactively provide support to the Weapon Systems Business Unit in administering Government contracts as both a Prime contractor and a subcontractor. Under the direction of leadership, the successful candidate will support all aspects of contract management throughout the contracting process, from pre-proposal activities through contract closure. In performing this role, the Contracts Specialist will:
• Support the review and risk analysis of solicitations and terms and conditions and coordinate with their supervisor.
• Participate in bid/no bid decisions and proposal review meetings.
• Review cost proposals, maintain cost and pricing data records for TINA compliance, support fact-finding, participate in DCMA and DCAA audits, and conduct negotiations as a key member of the program team.
• Proactively administer a variety of Government contract structures, including cost reimbursement, fixed price, incentive, award fee, IDIQ, etc., and any modifications thereto. Prepare and coordinate business correspondence with both internal and external stakeholders, generate required contract-related reports, and maintain accurate and complete contract files and records for the company.
• Remain actively engaged with (and serve as an integral member of) designated program teams and develop strong interfaces with leadership located throughout Textron Systems in other functional areas.
• Participate in program reviews, monitor program performance (contract schedules, deliverables, funding, invoicing, and payments), and report potential non-compliances or other problems that could have an adverse impact on contractual performance.
• Identify and administer contract changes, and coordinate resolution of contract issues with your supervisors.
• Actively manage and administer the closeout of completed contracts.
• Ensure contract management activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, and customer requirements.
• Ensure coordination with Legal on contract matters that may have legal significance (such as, identifying to Legal non-standard or potentially high-risk terms and conditions) prior to advising management of contractual risks, rights and obligations, and terms and conditions interpretations.
• Perform other contract-related duties as assigned.
About This Role
The Manager Finance conducts analysis, maintains forecasts, and provides EACs for various programs. Without appreciable direction, the Manager Finance will lead individual contributors to prepare monthly budgets, cost projections, and sales and profit estimates, in addition to various Earned Value reports. Exercises latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments and will be an integral part of the program team. The position will be a resource to others within the group and will ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives. This position will have external customer interaction and direct reports.
Responsibilities
· Serve as finance lead for one of our most significant program areas
- Allocate resources and delegate work to ensure timely completion of standard financial reports: orders, sales, cost, profit and cash flow forecasts, Monthly Program Status Reports, Earned Value reports
- Mentor and train junior staff to ensure robust Program Finance talent pipeline
- Direct staff to establish and maintain baselines and EACs in the Earned Value tool (Deltek Cobra)
· Interface with government auditing agencies, as requested by senior management
· Work directly with external customers as the Textron finance POC for customer program offices and/or subcontract management teams
· Interface with Textron Systems leadership, customer leadership teams, and government agencies, such as DCMA/DCAA
· Provide inputs for assigned program area to support preparation of Annual Operating Plan, Long Range Plan, Strategic Business Review, and other annual planning processes
· Manage 2-3 direct reports

About This Role
Textron Systems is looking for a FPGA/ASIC Design Verification (DV) Engineer whose primary job function will be to support the verification of FPGA and ASIC designs for our electronic systems. The FPGA/ASIC Design Verification Engineer will be required to work closely with the RTL Design Engineers, System Engineers, and Hardware Engineers in the verification of RTL implementation in the target hardware.
Responsibilities
· Validate all FPGA and follow-on ASIC designs
· Develop test benches for FPGA or ASIC design verification using UVM, System Verilog, Verilog or VHDL
· Conduct various verification activities including creating test plans, cover plans, test bench architecture, and test bench development
· Participate in coverage implementation and analysis, architecture of verification environments, development of test cases and running regressions in order to execute verification projects
· Create bus functional models (BFMs) for key components of the design
· Evaluate and integrate verification IP (VIP) into the verification environment
· Develop coverage metrics and testcases to fully cover all test plan items
· Generate digital verification scripting and automation
· Lead and supervise digital verification tasks of multiple projects
· Develop digital verification estimation, planning and scheduling to meet tape-out dates

• Prepare and/or review test plans, test procedures, test readiness reviews and test reports for functional, performance, environmental, and field tests
• Lead both in-house and field data collection activities including setup and operation of telemetry systems, data recorders, high speed cameras, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers and other test instrumentation
• Support and execute failure review and corrective action activities
• Support customer test activities including product installation, integration, test, data acquisition and analysis

We believe people should love what they do – as a Sr. Subcontract Specialist, you will be responsible for:
The negotiation, placement, and management of complex, high dollar subcontracts within a government acquisition environment, including both cost and fixed price material and service type subcontracts.
• Obtain program's contractual requirements; consolidate them into an accurate Comprehensive Request for Proposal (RFP) that will protect Textron's interests in data rights, Proposal preparation costs and intellectual property; and issue RFP’s to prospective subcontractors.
• Examine bid responses and initiate cost and pricing analysis using results thereof combined with program objectives to develop negotiation strategy and negotiate price, terms and work scope.
• Originate formal subcontract documents and coordinate inputs and approvals from both functional and programmatic leadership stakeholders.
• Originate and maintain required documentation for subcontract files, including all pertinent government Federal Acquisition Regulation requirements when applicable.
• Facilitate integrated program team (IPT) meetings to maintain and control all correspondence between Textron and subcontractor.
• Verify all invoices and give initial payment approval or disapproval. This includes maintaining detailed accounts payable records for cost contracts to know when to withhold fee.
• Participate in program meetings, obtain data and requirements which must be transmitted to or obtained from subcontractors via correspondence or telephone.
• Monitor funding profiles and spend plans to be able to recommend when funding may or may not be required.
• Conduct day to day management of subcontract delivery to maintain acceptable quality and delivery targets

• Provide manufacturing engineering input to support new product development, from initial conceptual design to the transition-to-production phase.
• Shadow Sr Manufacturing Engineer to learn advanced manufacturing processes
• Perform design for manufacturability, design for assembly, and design to cost analyses during the preliminary development phase of emerging programs and drive changes early in product development to improve manufacturability
• Collaborate with Design Engineering, Engineering Prototype Technicians, Machinists, Assembly Technicians, and other Manufacturing Engineers to provide a clear line of communication between design and manufacturing.
• Participate in tabletop design reviews and formal CCB reviews.
• Collaborate with suppliers for outsourcing activities.
• Determine necessary capital equipment, facility requirements, manufacturing technologies, and other manufacturing requirements for emerging programs.
• Identify emerging manufacturing technologies and perform cost/benefit analysis for implementation.
• Develop factory floorplans and machine arrangements with facilities to ensure efficient and productive manufacturing flow.
• Develop detailed manufacturing process documents.
