About This Role
The Weapon Systems business is seeking a Program Manager for the Wilmington, MA location. The Program Manager will own a critical subsystem within a growing program and work within a highly collaborative and dynamic Program Office.
This role requires excellent organization, teamwork, and communication skills to ensure program execution that meets mission objectives. A successful candidate in this role will be action-oriented, have strong written and verbal communication, and exhibit a team mentality.
Responsibilities:
The Program Manager will have responsibilities including but not limited to the following:
- Managing the financial, technical, and schedule requirements of a critical program subsystem to deliver products that are technically acceptable on-time and in a cost-effective manner.
- Applying Earned Value (EV) techniques to monitoring and control of the Performance Measurement Baseline.
- Performing Control Account Manager responsibilities for program budget including development of budgetary baseline, review of actual costs and managing variance analysis, monthly Latest Revised Estimate updates, Estimate At Complete analysis, and sales forecast updates.
- Zeroing in on Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) critical path for the subsystem and creating actionable plans to ensure on-time / early completion of tasking on that critical path.
- Managing Risks & Opportunities for the subsystem.
- Interfacing with critical suppliers and Textron Systems’ internal Procurement organization to communicate program updates / changes to and from the supplier.
- Coordinating formal customer briefs and leading internal dry runs prior to the event.
- Working closely with the customer’s Program Manager(s) and communicating program progress both internally and externally.
- Leading proposal generation and submittal to the customer.
- Mentoring Project Managers.

Responsibilities:
- Provide oversight and coordination to include cost, schedule, and technical performance of programs.
- Provide guidance and leadership to a cross-functional team that includes representatives from Procurement, Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Finance and Marketing.
- Assist with developing and implementing product life cycle and transition plans following the PLCP process.
- Coordinate product development & certification programs necessary to achieve strategic business objectives.
- Monitor projects and programs to ensure scope, schedule, and budget are well defined and being followed.
- Identify potential issues and assist in developing solutions to mitigate risk and meet productivity goals.
- Serve as liaison between planning, project management, project team, finance, clients, and leadership.
- Coordinate activities with Program Management team to ensure common business and development goals will be achieved.

About This Role
Textron Systems Electronic Systems (TSES) group is looking for a Sr Operations Project Manager to join our growing Program Management team and help us in providing services and support to our hardware and software customers around the globe.
We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for:
- Integrating the TSES Business Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and annual inventory forecasts to keep business positioned ahead of supply chain impacts and customer needs.
- Overseeing and executing all product inventory, sourcing, production, and testing up to and including delivery of products to other internal customers.
- Interacting with Integrated Supply chain and leading the development/execution of new Long-Term Agreements for TSES suppliers.
- Providing critical thinking and problem-solving skill sets to expedite product builds and product and material liquidation strategies.
- Overseeing and leading material and product end of life acquisitions to ensure all catalog and inventory programs maintain access to critical parts and components throughout the product lifecycle.
- Providing profit and loss oversight of all inventory and commercial product build programs.
- Meet or beat program budget and delivery schedule to meet financial obligations.
