Job Summary:
Software Engineers design, code, and maintain applications in various software languages. The candidate provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity. The candidate will develop, enhance, and maintain software code as assigned and will contribute to the completion of specific programs and projects.
Responsibilities:
· Solves problems which are varied, may be related to multiple issues, and may not be clear. If no precedent exists, complex problems may require research and analysis of alternatives involving many factors.
· May independently determine and develop approach to solutions.
· Contributes to and/or ensures the completion of milestones associated with specific projects.
· Reports status including schedule progress and problems/issues.
· Designs, codes, and maintains applications in various software languages under little supervision.
· Embedded programming (C/C++) for Microcontrollers or FPGAs.
· Graphical User Interface programming.
· Writing interface control documents, specifications and test procedures for your designs is expected.
· Working closely with hardware in a lab setting, and debugging using lab equipment (e.g. Spectrum Analyzer, Digital Oscilloscope).

About This Role
As an electrical engineering intern, you will perform a variety of assignments including conceptual design, engineering analysis, detailed sub-system electrical design, integration, test, and manufacturing and field support. A strong candidate will possess a broad range of engineering skills and could perform as an individual contributor or as a team lead. About This Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Work with teams and products that directly support our service men and women who engage in combat operations around the world.
- As an integral member of the design team, you'll work under the supervision of lead electrical engineers and focus on Land Systems products
- Performing research and trade studies
- Developing electrical design concepts
- Generating Technical Data Packages such as drawings using CAD
- Conducting performance calculations and simulations

About This Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Textron Systems is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Land Domain Ground Robotics team. We want engineers who have the passion to apply a diverse set of technologies and skills to create indispensable robotic solutions. Work is conducted on research and development initiatives that enable our ground robotic products and programs. In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Fulfilling daily responsibilities including research and trade studies, developing electrical design concepts, performance calculations and simulation, and hands-on support of testing and troubleshooting
- Opportunities that range from analog and digital circuits, fabrication and assembly, computer architectures, PCB design, debugging of electrical assemblies
- Designing, documenting, and upgrading robotic systems to include critical vehicle electronics and mission payloads.
- Some travel required to support customer demonstrations and product readiness.

About This Role
We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for:
The candidate should be comfortable as a cognizant designer of complex printed circuit boards utilizing micro-processors & controllers, high efficiency power supply design, analog signal conditioning, sensors, and RF components. There is also a desire that the applicant have experience designing systems to initiate ordnance under the rigor required by the safety community. Experience with FPGA design in VHDL or Verilog is a bonus. This position requires that the candidate be a US citizen with or capable of receiving a secret level security clearance.
Responsibilities
Senior Electrical Engineering Technician for production of newly developed and legacy products in Textron Systems Electronic Systems.
- Performing a variety of complex technical test functions related to the support of production activities. This includes set-up, operation, modification, calibrations, and testing of digital/analog/RF and electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) electronic assembly and sub-assembly processes.
- Diagnose and correct equipment and system malfunctions which fail to respond to standard corrective measures.
- Write and interpret specifications used in designing, maintaining, and calibrating electronic systems, chassis, or components.
- Prepare reports, charts and graphs as part of process documentation.
About This Role
Textron Systems is seeking an experienced PCB Designer to join our team. This individual will work as part of a multidisciplined design team during the development phases of an emerging program.
Responsibilities
We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for developing new PCB designs and the transition of those designs into military qualified hardware. The individual should be proficient in specifying the appropriate PCB construction based on requirements and environments. The individual should be knowledgeable in IPC standards, supplier PCB fabrication techniques and controlled impedance path layouts. Our Design Engineering team is focused on developing and improving new product designs to support advanced emerging programs for military customers.
