About This Role
Textron Systems has an immediate opening for a Plant Protection Officer. Some of the responsibilities associated with the position are included below:
• Assemble, proof, and correct as necessary all daily logs, reports, checklists, records, and associated paperwork generated during shift.
• Conduct investigations, random inspections, fire and safety inspections, and perform routine patrol (motorized & walking) of Company grounds and facilities. Respond to alarm activations and emergency situations. Prepare incident & accident reports.
• Monitor & operate all security equipment in the Security Control Center. Control entry/access to Company grounds and facilities. Control and issue employee and visitor credentials. Coordinate & dispatch response to alarm activations and emergency situations. Prepare and assemble daily logs, incident & accident reports, emergency checklists, and other required reports and records.
• Identify and control entry/access of all personnel entering Company grounds and facilities via the Lobby. Control and issue employee and visitor credentials and parking permits. Prepare and submit daily visitor control logs. Control and coordinate vendors providing services and making deliveries.
• Enforce and comply with Company Policy & Procedures and DOD Regulations pertaining to Security.
• Other duties as assigned.
This position requires exerting 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force to constantly move objects. Visual requirements are the minimum for those who work analyzing data and figures and work on a computer terminal. Must be able to conduct walking and driving patrols. Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

About This Role
Textron System, Electronic Systems is seeking talented Electrical Engineers (EE) to design and develop complex hardware solution for a variety of technical problems. Electrical Engineers engage in a variety of technical projects of moderate scope including schematic capture and circuit card design, Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) hardware and firmware design and development, and embedded microcontroller design and development. Additionally, EEs are expected to create, maintain and follow Interface Control Documents (ICDs), specifications and test procedures for circuit card assemblies and system integration.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Solving complex problems that may require research and analysis of alternatives involving many factors.
• Working independently to determine and develop innovative solutions.
• Contributing to and/or ensures the completion of milestones associated with specific projects.
• Working with schematic capture tools such as Mentor Graphics DxDesigner.
• Designing VHDL code for FPGAs (Altera/IntelPSG and/or Xilinx).
• Developing code for embedded microcontrollers (Atmel, Microchip, etc).
• Writing interface control documents, specifications and test procedures for designs.

As our Assistant General Counsel, you will:
• Serve as a trusted legal advisor on labor and employment matters with a high degree of integrity.
• Provide timely, practical, and business-oriented legal advice on a range of labor and employment issues, including hiring, performance management, employee relations, personnel policies and handbooks, leaves of absence and accommodations, discrimination and harassment, wage and hour, internal investigations, discipline and termination, compensation, benefits, and privacy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement a variety of workplace policies, employee training and employment-related templates and agreements.
• Investigate and respond to claims, demand letters, administrative complaints, audits, and other employment-related inquiries.
• Represent the Company in investigations and mediations before administrative agencies including the EEOC, DOL, NLRB, and equivalent state bodies.
• Manage employment related litigation, including responding to attorney demand letters, effectively negotiating resolution of claims, and making recommendations to Human Resources and senior management on corrective action.
• Critically supervise and manage outside counsel to ensure high-quality, cost-effective service through developing and monitoring budgets and oversight of outside counsel on employment litigation matters.

About This Role

The candidate should be comfortable as a cognizant designer of complex printed circuit boards utilizing micro-processors & controllers, high efficiency power supply design, analog signal conditioning, sensors, and RF components. Principal Electrical Engineering Technician for production of newly developed and legacy products in Textron Systems Electronic Systems.
Responsibilities
- Performing a variety of complex technical test functions related to the support of production activities. This includes set-up, operation, modification, calibrations, and testing of digital/analog/RF and electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) electronic assembly and sub-assembly processes.
- Diagnose and correct equipment and system malfunctions which fail to respond to standard corrective measures.
- Write and interpret specifications used in designing, maintaining, and calibrating electronic systems, chassis, or components.

About This Role
The Sr Content & Communications Strategist will be responsible for developing and executing a multichannel editorial strategy for Textron Systems. Reporting to the Manager, Digital Development, this position is part of Textron Systems’ Strategic Communications & Creative Services team. The Sr Content & Communications Strategist will work closely with a variety of internal stakeholders to understand key business strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, translating these into a unified content strategy covering a multitude of channels including, but not limited to, social media, web and print. Curating contributed content for these channels, as well as leading development of a variety of content, this individual will use key performance indicators to evaluate the performance of content and make strategic recommendations for continuous improvement. This role requires 3-5 years of proven experience, as well as strong cross-functional collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver innovative and measurably successful results.

The Project Manager will work closely with Program, Engineering, Finance, Contracts and Operations teams to execute production projects. This role is a career progression into Program Management.

About This Role
The Manager Supply Chain will lead a team of subcontract specialists to enable the negotiation and execution of complex subcontracts with major suppliers and ensure oversight of the supply base. This position further serves as the Air/Sea domain supply chain lead with direct support responsibility to the domain program leadership. Customer relationship management and supply chain execution are key measures for this position, all with a focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
Responsibilities
Serve as the supply chain lead to the Air and Sea domain programs. Engage in regular communications, attend program reviews, and provide supply chain feedback on items of program importance or concern (e.g. risky suppliers and mitigation, delivery status, cost growth concerns, among others).
Coordinate and align with other supply chain resources/functions to meet customer objectives. (Supplier Development, Strategic Sourcing, Sourcing Engineering, Data Analytics, Tactical Procurement). Escalate issues as identified.
Provide regular reports to supply chain and program leadership regarding subcontract status, supplier performance, risks/mitigations, and associated supply chain metrics.
Develop, coach, and manage subcontract specialists and monitor employee performance to goals. Use data analytics and standard tools to measure and monitor subcontract placement and supplier management/performance. Enforce and improve on standard work and cadences. Monitor SC exception reports.
Maintain knowledge of domain major commodities including industry trends, economic factors, and key suppliers in these commodities.
Evaluate supply chain needs proactively with the program through the review of forecasts and the identification of potential sources for strategic sourcing considerations.
Represent Supply Chain in gate reviews for prime proposal capture and submission in accordance with company delegation of authority.
Intercept front end business opportunities to enable optimized down stream supply chain performance. This includes, but not limited to, early integration on proposals (in coordination with Strategic Sourcing/Material Estimating), drive program accountability, mitigate requisition compression for requirements, and advocate for supply chain with the program team.
Support the Supply Chain organization executing discrete continuous improvement efforts as identified.
Analyze statistical data to evaluate supplier performance. Develop and implement strategies for risk mitigation. For known issues, support root cause corrective actions including contract management and enforcement.
Support both internal and external audit teams, including Accounting, Textron Audit Services, DCMA and DCAA. Ensure subcontract management activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, and customer requirements.
