About This Role
Textron Systems is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst to support multiple product lines in our Wilmington, Massachusetts location. The successful candidate will be eager to guide and support our Customers and our Engineering teams to follow industry-standard configuration management practices as they investigate, design, and integrate new and advanced technologies into our family of Weapon Systems, Unmanned Air Vehicles, Surface Vessels, and Ground Control Systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform the five functions of Configuration Management in support of programs from medium to large size. Help programs meet their goals for cost, quality, and schedule.
- Interpret complex specifications, contractual data, and hardware requirements, and apply that knowledge to provide direct support and assistance to Program teams as needed.
- Participate in Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs) that ensure delivered product meets the product baseline requirements. Assemble data packages and coordinate meeting minutes and audit actions.
- Support CCBs between Textron Systems and its customers and between Textron Systems and its suppliers. Draft agendas, keep minutes and actions, and perform routine status accounting tasks for the program.
- Review documentation creation and change activities to ensure proper application of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Resource Management (ERP) system requirements to metadata at the time of release.
- Support assembly of periodic Technical Data Package (TDP) deliveries by utilizing the PLM system to assemble and review the necessary documentation.
- Support improvements to existing policies and procedures to support timely program execution and compliance with new and revised Configuration Management standards.
- Support Quality System audits as requested.
- Support the initial release and any subsequent revisions of program documents and drawings

About This Role
Provide information systems security support from a managerial and technical standpoint for DoD and Non-DoD classified systems and networks. Standing up and maintaining accreditations for classified systems and networks. Classified Systems & Networks range in complexity and size to include multi-platform computing (Linux, Windows, Solaris, VMWare), virtual environments, and mobile systems. Extensive experience with eMASS, NISPOM Chapter 8, DCSA DAAPM, DISA STIGs. Assemble and maintain security plan accreditation packages per Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain a formal Classified Information Security program and policies for their assigned area of responsibility.
· Ensure established IS policies are enforced for Classified Information Systems.
· Maintain a working knowledge of Textron Systems security policies and procedures. Be knowledgeable of and enforce policies in the area of information systems security, including Textron Systems and Government policies related to Classified Systems Security.
· Provide hands-on technical assistance to the Classified IS team and procedural Information System (IS) Security advice to government and industrial teams.
· Assist Classified IS team members at other locations, if required, either remotely or short travel (3 days).
· Develop and oversee operational information systems security implementation policy and guidelines.
· Maintain required DoD Cybersecurity certifications commensurate with your roles and responsibilities.
· Understand, implement, and enforce the security policies and processes that are required by: the NISPOM, DCSA DAAPM, System Security Plans (SSPs), NIST Security Controls.
· Oversee ISSOs under their purview to ensure they follow established IS policies and procedures.
· Assume ISSO responsibilities in the absence of the ISSO’s.
· Oversee System Administrators under their purview to ensure they follow established IS policies and procedures.
· Assist System Administrators as required with hands-on, technical, or procedural assistance.
· Understand, implement, and enforce security policies and processes to maintain the with respect to: Removable Media Creation, Trusted Download, Safeguarding Classified Information, Classified Markings, Wireless Devices, and relevant System Security Plans (SSPs).
· Perform Systems Administration for Linux/Windows operating systems, either in the absence of System Administrators or to assist as required.
· Utilize a variety of accredited security software tools to conduct vulnerability assessments, continuous monitoring scans, and those employed to maintain OS configurations.
· Coordinate IS security inspections, tests, and reviews (DCSA, DoD, Customers).
· Ensure development and implementation of an effective IS security education, training, and awareness program.
· Maintain a working knowledge of system functions, security policies, technical security safeguards, and operational security measures.
· Working experience with High Assurance Internet Protocol Encryptors/TACLANE
· Analyze security audits for non-standard events and media write control logs. Assist in investigations involving anomalies.
· Validate systems & networks are patched in accordance with IAVM guidelines for patching and executing Continuous Monitoring activities.
· Maintain a working knowledge of Textron Systems security policies and procedures and the requirements of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). Be knowledgeable of and enforce policies in the area of information systems security, including Textron Systems and Government policies related to IT security.
· Maintain and modify accreditation packages. Prior experience with eMASS, XACTA.
· ISSM would be required to obtain Classified IS accounts (General User, Privileged User) on systems under their purview, and actively review ISSO/SA taskings on classified IS

About This Role
Textron Systems is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team. This individual will work as part of a multidisciplined
design engineering team during the development phases of an emerging program. The individual will be responsible for
developing new analog designs and the transition of those designs into military qualified hardware. The individual should be familiar with Mixed Signal electronics design. Knowledge of switching power supply design is a plus. Understanding of Multilayer PWA’s. The individual should be familiar with using OrCAD Capture, PSPICE or LTSpice and other simulation products. Our Design Engineering team is focused on developing and improving new product designs to support advanced emerging programs for military customers.

· Facilitate the flow of electrical design/model content between the electrical test and test equipment engineers and electrical design team
· Manage electrical test and test equipment resources and allocating people to design and test jobs

Textron Systems is hiring a highly skilled and experienced embedded software engineer to join our team and serve as a software architect and developer. The candidate will assist the lead software engineer with the planning, designing, and oversight of the implementation and test of embedded software systems throughout the full software development lifecycle. The candidate will work closely with the software test lead as well to ensure proper verification of software requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software design and architecture of embedded software systems, as well as experience with software documentation that conform to Data Item Descriptions (DIDs).
The team’s goal is to create scalable and optimized software systems for defense applications to support modernization efforts for the US military. While the candidate’s primary focus will be the architecture and design, the candidate will be responsible for software peer reviews and implementation tasks. Textron systems is developing highly complex systems using microprocessor, ARM, and/or DSP architectures where some aspects are safety critical. The candidate must be able to work independently on individual assigned tasks and well as collaborate with software, systems, safety, and electrical lead engineering team members throughout the project. The candidate must have a good understanding of electrical design and how it affects the software design. The candidate must be able to interpret schematics and be able to understand how electrical components interact and affect the software implementation. This position requires that the candidate be a US citizen with or capable of receiving a secret level security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Leading the development of 1 or more of the CSCIs within the program’s overall system software plan
- Capture and document the software design in a clear and concise manner in UML using system model-based tools such as Magic Draw.
- Implement unit testing of software features and integrate into a CI/CD pipeline
