About This Role

The assembly technician is responsible for the assembly of a variety of products. This position requires an individual who can work independently, with minimal supervision or in teams to complete projects on time and within budgets established by management. Must be capable of working under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and safety at all times.
Detailed job duties include:
· Assembling parts.
· Ensures that all components are assembled correctly.
· Identifying defects or problems to be repaired by hand or by machined tools (equipment).
· Using proper techniques for the job site; performs minor repairs on equipment as needed.
· Maintains accurate records regarding work performed at each stage of production.
· Works closely with other technicians to ensure quality control is maintained throughout the manufacturing process.

About This Role
We believe people should love what they do – in this role, you will be responsible for:
The Powder-Coat Technician is responsible for routine and preventative maintenance coating duties within the manufacturing plant, including a full range of specialized projects. These include but are not limited to; powder coating large structures, performing inspections, clean ups, proper storage, and disposal of powder-coat products and operating various tools and equipment. Skilled at layout, preparation and performing the powder coating assignments on parts from all departments, to meet Quality Control inspection and customer acceptance.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- To receive and prepare cut parts for the powder coat process.
- Working from oral and written instruction, regularly perform powder coating on (both exterior and interior surfaces), using extreme care to avoid overspray.
- Use and adjust, clean and service powder-coat guns, hoses, and other spray equipment.
- Apply coatings to small and large surfaces to a variety of surfaces including, steel, aluminum, and other shop coated metal, uncoated metal, finish hardware, accessories and other surfaces as specified.
- Apply protective powder coatings to items such as equipment and miscellaneous metalwork.
- Keep inventory of supplies and order in advance to assure needed items are on hand.
- Work with program manager and leads to ensure schedule is on time and within budget.

Responsibilities
- Generate overall electrical system architecture designs to satisfy functional, reliability, and safety requirements
- Develop low and high voltage electrical power distribution systems based on system requirements
- 2D schematic capture and 3D modeling/routing of vehicle wire harnesses collaborating closely with mechanical engineers on routing.
- Provide engineering support for harnessing fabrication both in house and out of house
- Debugging of electrical assemblies and harnessing
- Serve as a resource to others within the work group, department, and the organization.
- Effectively communicate with program managers, planners, and technicians.
- Drive tasks to completion independently.
