The Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for maintenance actions on Airborne Tactical Advantage Company’s aircraft as well as the safe and expeditious launch and recovery flight line operations at permanent and detachment sites.
Job Responsibilities

· Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as blueprints or manufactures’ manuals

Summary
The Production Supervisor guides and supervises the overall production of hangar/flight line maintenance actions for Airborne Tactical Advantage Company. The Production Supervisor leads all maintenance efforts while supporting company objectives, developing and empowering the maintenance team supporting company requirements. The Production Supervisor reports to and assists the Maintenance Manager in all matters pertaining to maintenance actions, policies, and programs for assigned maintenance personnel.

Summary
Fly the Dassault Mirage F-1 in regular support of US Navy, Marine Corps, and US Air Force training and readiness missions. Fly in support of 4th and 5th Generation Fighter operational and conversion syllabus and continuation training missions. Support surface fleet pre-deployment training and large force employment missions.
Marine Contracts: Conduct flight operations from ATAC’S permanent facilities at Cherry Point, NC and Beaufort, SC. Deploy as required to various locations.
Job Responsibilities
• Employ the ATAC fighter aircraft throughout their flight envelope as a surrogate Adversary, Red Air, Aggressor or Close Air Support pilot for Marine Corps large force employment exercise, or intercept controller training.
• Maintain FAA instrument currency, First Class medical certification, and adversary mission qualifications and associated mission currencies, to include low level, dynamic mission, and unlimited air combat tactics maneuvering in the high-G environment.
• Attend mass briefings, adversary coordination briefings and other pre-flight briefings. Plan and fly adversary missions. Accomplish flight debriefings and attend mass debriefings.
• Adhere to all training rules and pre-briefed maneuvering restrictions
• Collect and disseminate lessons learned.
• Accomplish necessary ground training prior to flights
• Deploy as required to support mission requirements

Collateral Assignments
Director of Operations (Cherry Point) - The Cherry Point DO will report to the Vice President of ATAC ACE and receive direction from, the ACE Director of Flight Operations in order to ensure customer and company operational requirements are achieved in support of all flying activities within the designated AOR. Scope of work includes providing direct customer interface in order to support and schedule all contract requirements, liaise with local and regional authorities for airspace and airfield requirements, and effectively manage the ATAC site Maintenance Manager for all aircrew and aircraft utilization regarding ground and flight requirements. Additionally, the DO will interface with functional leaders at headquarters when required.
Deputy Director of Operations (Cherry Point) – The Deputy Director of Operations (DDO) is a pilot position that assists the Director of Operations (DO) in the oversight and execution of all flight operations within the Cherry Point area of responsibility (AOR). The DDO with provide flight schedule support, detachment planning, and assistance to DO in oversight of aircraft maintenance, procedures, policies, inspection programs, manpower, and finance management. DDO will report directly to the DO.
Maintenance Liaison (Beaufort) – The Beaufort Maintenance Liaison will report to the Vice President of ATAC ACE, coordinate with the ACE Director of Flight Operations (DFO), and the Cherry Point Director of Operation (DO) for activities related to aircraft maintenance in support of customer requirements. The Maintenance Liaison will ensure adequate coordination and communication of maintenance of maintenance related activities in support of Luke operations.
Standardization and Evaluations Officer – The Standardization and Evaluations Officer (Stan/Eval) at ATAC is a pilot position that oversees all pilot related standards of operations and evaluations programs, and scheduling for both ground and airborne evaluations under the purview of Cherry Point OL. Will liaise with the ACE Stan/Eval Mngr and coordinate evaluations as needed. The ATAC Stan/Eval Officer will report to the Cherry Point DO and coordinate with the ACE DFO and the Chief Pilot (CP). Cherry Point Stan/Eval will maintain a tactical focus and perform the operational role in evaluating OL ability to accomplish mission tasking.
Training Officer – The Cherry Point Training Officer (TO) is a pilot position that oversees all pilot related training programs, syllabi, and scheduling for both ground and airborne training requirements for operations under the purview of Cherry Point. The Cherry Point TO will report to the Cherry Point DO, coordinate with the Cherry Point Standards & Evaluation Officer (Stan/Eval) and will be required to support the ACE Chief Pilot (CP), and the ACE Safety Manager (SM) for all activities related to Pilot training in the Cherry Point (AOR). The Cherry Point TO will ensure adequate training materials, equipment, scheduling, and continued process improvement of all F1 syllabi along with the periodic training and tracking requirements of all pilot qualifications and currency. The Cherry Point TO will liaise with ACE Training Mgr to ensure clarification and consistency of companywide training policies and procedures.
Flight Safety Manager - The Flight Safety Manager is the delegated authority to implement and manage ATAC’s Safety Management System (SMS) at Cherry Point. The Cherry Point Flight Safety Manager (FSM) reports to the Director of Safety and will be required to support the Cherry Point Director of Operations (DO) and Maintenance Managers for all activities related to safe flight operations in designated Areas of Responsibility (AOR). The Flight Safety Manager will ensure all flight operations are conducted IAW published standards and procedures.

Job Responsibilities
• Ensuring effective supervision and management of all Quality Assurance efforts in support of company requirements; throughout operating bases and detachments
• Ensuring efficient program management within company maintenance information systems; to include RAMCO, AMS, ARS, reporting email systems, share drive, and company SharePoint
• Providing periodic reports as required by the Director of Maintenance Operations, Local Maintenance Manager and Quality Assurance Manager.
• Lead Quality Assurance Division efforts with constant focus on safety, quality, efficiency and continuous improvement
• Reports to the local Maintenance Manager for manpower scheduling requirements, and operational and work taskings.
Responsible for maximizing maintenance/quality efficiencies across all TMS
• Ensuring maintenance department functions are accomplished in accordance with applicable FAA, DoD, OEM, NAVAIR, and internal Quality and Safety Management Systems through an effective Quality Assurance processes.

• Manages the service, repair, and overall maintenance of aircraft, aircraft engines and all associated gear, verifying aircraft are safe for flight in compliance with ATAC GOPS, Government contract requirements and FAA regulations.
• Adherence to all safety regulations, policies and procedures in accordance with all Federal, State, corporate and company requirements.
• Oversees the scheduling and timely completion of repairs and maintenance ensuring adherence to budgetary and safety protocols.
• Adherence and oversight of OL Maintenance related General Operating Procedures (GOP’s) and training.
• Acts as advisor to the aircraft maintenance team, Director of Maintenance Operations and site Director of Operations regarding projects, tasks, facilities, personnel and operations.
• Typically manages through subordinate Leads and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity.
• Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
• Gives recommendations into developing the budget and hiring plan to include talent scouting, recruiting and resume collection. Responsible for prioritizing, performing, and supervising multiple complex maintenance functions as assigned.
• Performance will be continuously monitored by supervision and reviewed annually with the employee.

The Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for maintenance actions on Airborne Tactical Advantage Company’s aircraft as well as the safe and expeditious launch and recovery flight line operations at permanent and detachment sites.
Responsibilities
· Maintenance efforts in support of company commitments
· Proficient in one type/model aircraft and helper on additional type/model aircraft
· Utilize AMS program
· Training of maintenance personnel
· Manage assigned maintenance programs
· Assist with coordination of detachment requirements with Crew Chiefs (as necessary)
· Obtain and maintain Detachment Lead qualification
· The Aircraft Mechanic troubleshoots malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls
· This mechanic repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft structures, such as wings and fuselage, and functional components including rigging, surface controls
· This mechanic performs 100-hour, progressive, isochronal, phase, periodic, and other hourly or calendar inspections
· This mechanic: adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories, performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections
· Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as; blueprints or manufactures’ manuals
· Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects
· Additional responsibilities as delineated by Production Supervisor and Crew Chiefs
· Manage programs as assigned
