The E-Beam Welder / CNC Setup Machinist works primarily as an electron-beam welder set-up / operator; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies for complex aerospace structures. This ideal candidate would also possess the ability to set-up and run CNC programs.
Responsibilities
- Electron beam welding machinery and welding fundamentals
- Set-up and operate electron beam welder & CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets and compensation; including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry.
- Sets-up CNC welder and machines by installing and adjusting three- and four-jaw chucks, tools, attachments, collets; indicating vices; tramming heads.
- Capable of fixturing, running pre-defined profiles, and indicating parts.
- Experience in producing welds to pass industry standard requirements
- Experience with large metallic structures and manufacturing processes related to welding / machining
- Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces, adhering to international standards.
- Maintains specifications by observing welding, drilling, grooving, and cutting, including turning, facing, knurling and thread chasing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; adjusting controls; replacing worn tools; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.

About This Role
The Systems Engineer will accomplish the Systems Engineering scope for the Sea Systems team based in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Systems Engineer will execute System Engineering processes and procedure and will be primarily focused on Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS), Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS), and Reliability Availability and Maintainability (RAM) modeling, and Requirements Management. Each of these activities requires coordination and communication across engineering disciplines and interaction with a wide range of functions.

· Review weekly quality reports to evaluate component quality issues

Textron Systems is hiring a highly skilled and experienced embedded software engineer to join our team and serve as a software architect and developer. The candidate will assist the lead software engineer with the planning, designing, and oversight of the implementation and test of embedded software systems throughout the full software development lifecycle. The candidate will work closely with the software test lead as well to ensure proper verification of software requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software design and architecture of embedded software systems, as well as experience with software documentation that conform to Data Item Descriptions (DIDs).
The team’s goal is to create scalable and optimized software systems for defense applications to support modernization efforts for the US military. While the candidate’s primary focus will be the architecture and design, the candidate will be responsible for software peer reviews and implementation tasks. Textron systems is developing highly complex systems using microprocessor, ARM, and/or DSP architectures where some aspects are safety critical. The candidate must be able to work independently on individual assigned tasks and well as collaborate with software, systems, safety, and electrical lead engineering team members throughout the project. The candidate must have a good understanding of electrical design and how it affects the software design. The candidate must be able to interpret schematics and be able to understand how electrical components interact and affect the software implementation. This position requires that the candidate be a US citizen with or capable of receiving a secret level security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Leading the development of 1 or more of the CSCIs within the program’s overall system software plan
- Capture and document the software design in a clear and concise manner in UML using system model-based tools such as Magic Draw.
- Implement unit testing of software features and integrate into a CI/CD pipeline
- Lead software assurance efforts
- Coordinate the authoring and revisioning of CDRLs in accordance with DFARS software documentation requirements using DIDs format.
- Prepare presentations to the customer on the software design and architecture for embedded systems.
- Work with the software engineering team to ensure that the software meets the requirements of the system.
- Stay up to date on the latest software technologies and trends, especially those related to embedded systems.
About This Role
Textron Systems is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team. This individual will work as part of a multidisciplined
design engineering team during the development phases of an emerging program. The individual will be responsible for
developing new analog designs and the transition of those designs into military qualified hardware. The individual should be familiar with Mixed Signal electronics design. Knowledge of switching power supply design is a plus. Understanding of Multilayer PWA’s. The individual should be familiar with using OrCAD Capture, PSPICE or LTSpice and other simulation products. Our Design Engineering team is focused on developing and improving new product designs to support advanced emerging programs for military customers.

· Set up and utilize radiographic testing equipment.
· Actively participate in Radiation safety Programs.
· Ensure the work or radiation area is controlled.
· Calibrate radiographic testing equipment as required.
· Conduct radiographic tests to ensure quality or detection of discontinuities.
· Establish techniques for proper examination of welds under inspection while ensuring strict adherence to safety rules and regulations.
· Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results.
· Interpret radiographs.
· Organize and report test results.
· Complete, maintain and/or submit daily radiation reports for management review, as required.

About This Role
The Aircraft Mechanic is responsible for maintenance actions on Airborne Tactical Advantage Company’s aircraft as well as the safe and expeditious launch and recovery flight line operations at permanent and detachment sites.
Responsibilities
• Maintenance efforts in support of company commitments
• Proficient in one type/model aircraft and helper on additional type/model aircraft

• This mechanic: adjusts, repairs, or replaces electrical wiring system and aircraft accessories, performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections
• Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting technical documentation such as; blueprints or manufactures’ manuals
• Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects

About This Role
A Sr Welder – Training Lead (Aluminum), under the direction of a Production Supervisor, leads and directs the individual’s training and development related to aluminum welding within MLS manufacturing processes and guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts the aluminum welding training of new hires and transfers based upon the needs of the department to which the individual will be assigned
- Adheres to MLS manufacturing requirements, quality standards and core competencies in the preparation and delivery of quality instruction
- Maintain training curriculum while continually improving and developing the training program as necessary
- Pace instruction and vary delivery to meet different learning styles
- Provide appropriate and timely feedback to training participants
- Maintains clean, effective, and professional learning environment
- Maintains accurate records of attendance, progress of participants and reports the same in a timely manner to the Training Manager
- Completes weld certification documentation in coordination with Quality Control and delivers completed paperwork to weld engineer

Specialist in Structural and Welding Inspection and defect identification through x-ray inspection (RT) method to determine adherence to standards, specifications, and drawing requirements. Prior experience in aluminum welding inspection preferred, with ability to shoot, develop, and interpret film across a variety of material thicknesses and geometries. Accompanying Visual and Dye Penetrant Inspection experience required. Experience with MIL-STD or AWS acceptance criteria required. Marine experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Approach assignments with a high ethical resolve, ensuring reputable standing with our onsite customers.
- Capable of discerning rejectable weld defects by grading film in accordance with given acceptance criteria.
- Ability to implement NDT inspection methods in accordance with written procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and process plans.
- Visual examinations by means of instruments, gauges, jigs, templates, or other measuring devices to include nondestructive test methods to ensure adherence to standards, specifications, drawing, etc.
- RT Method Experience to include:
- Conducting weld inspections through VT/PT as a prerequisite to RT.
- Laying out film in a large craft or large weldments where both sides of the object being x-rayed are not accessible at the same time.
- Setting up and operating x-ray tube equipment.
- Developing film using an automatic film processor.
- Grading film to a given acceptance criteria.
- Tracking repair status.
- Implementing penalty and tracer shots as required upon initial failures.
- Recording results in a timely manner.
- Generates Quality reports, completes Inspection Check Lists, nonconformance documents, calibration reports, and other Quality documents/records as applicable to the specific area assigned.
- Adheres to all safety requirements, departmental instructions and TMLS Policies and Procedures. Leads Radiation Safety compliance within the RT team.
- Interface directly with all levels of the organization, suppliers, and customers, as appropriate.
- Comfortable being audited on NDT Process adherence by Government customer.
- Performs any and all other duties assigned by management.
- Willingness to work an off shift to limit plant wide radiation exposure risk. This is either 2 am to 10 am or aligned with a standard second shift.
