About This Role:
We believe people should love what they do. In this role, the Contracts Specialist shall proactively provide support to contract management and directors of a particular in administering USG DoD contracts. Under the direction of leadership, they will support all aspects of contract management throughout the contracting process, from pre-proposal activities through contract closure. In performing this role, the Contracts Specialist will:
· Support the review and risk analysis of solicitations and terms and conditions and coordinate with their supervisor.
· Participate in bid/no bid decisions and proposal review meetings.
· Review cost proposals, maintain cost and pricing data records for TINA compliance, support fact-finding, DCAA audits, and negotiations.
· Proactively administer a variety of USG DoD contracts of all types (cost reimbursement, fixed price, incentive, award fee, IDIQ, time and material, etc.) and modifications thereto.
· Prepare and coordinate business correspondence, generate required contract-related reports, and maintain accurate and complete contract files and records for the company.
· Remain actively engaged with (and serve as an integral member of) designated program teams and develop strong interfaces with personnel located at other business sites in Slidell, LA and Hunt Valley, MD in other functional areas.
· Participate in program reviews, monitor program performance (contract schedules, deliverables, funding, invoicing, and payments), and notify contract managers or directors of potential non-compliances or other problems that could have an adverse impact on the company.
· Identify and administer contract changes, and coordinate resolution of contract issues with your supervisors.
· Actively administer the closeout of completed contracts.
· Ensure contract management activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, and customer requirements.
· Ensure coordination with Legal on contract matters that may have legal significance (such as, identifying to Legal non-standard or potentially high-risk terms and conditions) prior to advising management of contractual risks, rights and obligations, and terms and conditions interpretations.
· Perform other contract-related duties as assigned.

We are seeking an experienced Robotics Engineer to join our team. We are focused on advancing the automation and robotics manufacturing systems for military vehicles. As an Robotics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions that enhance the functionality, safety, and performance of our manufacturing processes and tooling.
Responsibilities:
Drive automation expansion opportunities for welding & assembly, with potential of automating material handling, inspection, etc.
Develop and lead robotic welding cell concepts for aluminum components, including process selection, weld joint design considerations, fixture needs, and robot/tooling requirements.
Evaluate feasibility of automating existing manual welding operations, including cycle time studies, reach studies, safety, and quality requirements.
Create design concepts, simulation models, and offline programming paths for proposed systems.
Ensure the highest levels of safety and reliability for the automation systems in compliance with military standards and regulations.
Select and specify robots, weld power supplies, end-of-arm tooling, sensors, fixturing, and ancillary equipment.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Tooling, and Operations to ensure designs meet cost, schedule, and performance requirements.
Develop and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including process instructions, cell layouts, and PFMEA inputs.
Lead and oversee installation, commissioning, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) activities.
Perform programming, tuning, and optimization of robotic weld paths, parameters, and sequences.
Train operators, technicians, and maintenance personnel on proper use and upkeep of robotic systems.
Support ongoing troubleshooting and maintenance of automation systems.

About This Role
The Weld Engineer is responsible for assuring that Companies and products will adequately meet the objectives of the contracts or sales agreements by maintaining surveillance over all phases of the product's cycle from design until successful fulfillment of intended objectives.
Responsibilities
· Plans, organizes and directs the technical aspects of all types of welding processes and issues within the SSC group.
· Directly interface with the product design engineering team to ensure design for process and manufacturing requirements are addressed and met.
· Establishes and documents welding processes in accordance with national and military standards/specifications.
· Develops, recommends, and coordinates the implementation of improved/enhanced processes, techniques, and safety procedures for all welding performed within the company.
· Identifies problems with and identifies the resolution of welding processes, issues, and concerns.
· Performs root cause analysis with emphasis on eliminating problems through design analysis, ergonomic issues, and machine/welding/assembly process improvements including equipment/materials purchasing requirements.
· Develops overall quality plans using the systems concept identifying in terms of the product involved, general instructions, test and sampling procedures, specific parts and assembly instructions, material disposition, records, tables, charts, and graphs required.
· Reviews Engineering and Manufacturing information such as new and revised designs, specifications and bills of materials; production, tool and test equipment drawings; production and tool plans; operation and routing sheets; production, storage, and shipping methods; and facility and floor space requirements.
· Plans the minimum quality standards, test, and inspection requirements and process controls.

About This Role

Provides technical guidance to initiate and drive Root Cause / Corrective Action (RCCA) on production issues related to engineering design, material, tooling, specifications and processes.
Analyzes/Interprets engineering drawing, manufacturing operation sequence, tooling function, and process specifications and issues engineering change requests (ECR).
Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.

About This Role
In this role, you will be responsible for:
· Purchase materials from supplies at the lowest cost consistent with considerations of quality, reliability of source and urgency of need
· Study market trends, interview vendors and recommends sources of supply
· Solicit and analyze quotations required to satisfy all the requirements of the authorizing source documentation
· Monitor outstanding orders to ensure timely deliveries of quality products to maintain production, following up on orders to expedite shipment and delivery as needed
· Negotiate for any adjustments resulting from price analysis, discrepant materials, surplus or obsolete materials, contract terminations or a purchase order cancellation
· Obtain certifications of delivery and conduct item delivery validation. Check and improve payment of invoices
· Develop and maintain necessary records and files for compliance purposes. Support preparation of proposal cost data
· Preferred candidate will be knowledgeable in weld process, mechanical and custom fab.

Develop and maintain the Program Integrated Master Plan/Schedule associated with the entire project lifecycle from RFP to program closeout with guidance from the Principal/Manager, Program Planning & Scheduling.
Integrate all program activities, including program management, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, assembly and test through sell-off into the master plan.
Integrate the master schedule to the cost baseline and ensures cost data is consistent with schedule information.
Establish logic, predecessors and successors to develop the critical path for a program
Develop, update, and maintain schedule performance metrics, related processes and management tools within the business units, including, but not limited to, critical path analysis and schedule risk assessment.
Advises the Program Manager and Control Account Managers on schedule performance, forecasts and risks.

Establish and document welding processes in accordance with national and military standards and/or specifications.
Review welding procedures, processes, and documentation.
Develops and executes weld qualification procedures.
Creates, submits, and manages WPS(s).
Works with management to identify?problems and recommend resolutions of welding processes, issues and concerns.
Directly interface with the product design engineering team to ensure design for process and manufacturing requirements are addressed and met.
Assist and support manufacturing, other support groups, and training center as it relates to weld processes, weld related defects (to include the assistance with repair/rework dispositions to address defects), weld sequencing, and any other weld related needs.

About This Role
The Senior Fluid Systems Engineer is responsible for designing propulsion and auxiliary fluid systems—including fuel, hydraulics, lubrication, fresh water, pneumatic, and drainage systems—in accordance with program requirements and OEM specifications. This role develops system layouts, writes component and system specifications, performs technical analyses, and collaborates with cross-functional engineering teams throughout development. The engineer also supports production, testing, and fleet operations by assisting with installation, troubleshooting, system improvements and cost-reduction initiatives.
Responsibilities
• Design detailed fluid system installations for propulsion and auxiliary systems, including fuel, hydraulic, lubrication oil, fresh water, pneumatic, and drainage systems.
• Coordinate supplier subsystem development efforts and participate in supplier design reviews.
• Develop and review engineering documentation such as drawings, specifications, analyses, and test reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare technical reports for customer submittals.
• Execute assigned tasks in alignment with program schedules and budgets.
• Coordinate fluid-system interface requirements with other engineering disciplines.
• Identify, track, and mitigate risks associated with craft fluid systems.
• Support production, testing, and fielded Navy craft with installation, troubleshooting, and improvements.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
